Matsaki Serpent Cornmeal Bowl

This unique technique of the "cloud" patterns are arranged with the association of how mother nature comes with moisture in all directions. The interior bowl has designs from one of the ancient Zuni Villages with the dwellings, rain, hail, and the six cardinal directions, the exterior has an early image of the Zuni Water Serpent that is swimming around with tadpoles in the serpent's water hole. One of a kind creation. Signed: Paloma 8/2023 Zuni, N.M.
