These works of clay are meticulously planned, created, and given time to have the potter's thoughts and attention to work with mother nature and it's guidence. Paloma Pottery are hand coiled, hand painted with natural mineral pigments and raw materials are gathered around the pueblo to produce these tremendous style of the 19th century. All pottery are authentic and one of a kind and meets SWAIA standards and Heard Museum requirments, even though they are kiln fired that does not mean they are not traditionally produced, weather & human nature has to be the right consistency to perform the outdoor firings.
